Graphic Design for Titanic Brewery

Increase your sales.
Turn interest into revenue.

TITANIC BREWERY

Titanic Brewery wanted to create a buzz that drove more purchases, not just brand awareness.

PHd’s design work helps businesses sell what they make… effective packaging and marketing turns attention into buys.

Getting attention is great, but turning that into repeat purchases; builds revenue.
Get it wrong and new products drift unnoticed.

If interest isn’t turning into revenue, let’s change that.

The aim:

Grow customer base and sales via new product range.

The stuff:

Seasonal pump clips, product names, packaging, cans and merch.

The results:

Sales increased on new lines; brand profile and product awareness rose.

A comparison of the old and new Titanic Brewery logos.

Starting with their logo, we applied some simple yet effective changes that have helped them better stand out in the evergrowing craft beer market.

The old logo, much like the new one features an illustration of the Titanic riding on the waves, something that felt appropriate for the brewery’s name and nautical theme. However, the design felt a bit dated and didn’t quite capture the modern and innovative spirit of the brewery’s beers. We redrew the illustration in a simpler, cleaner and more dynamic fashion that completely transforms the logo itself and made some technical tweaks to the size and spacing of the outer elements and text to allow for the logo to having the breathing space it needs in whatever medium!

Overall, the changes to the logo are subtle but impactful. By modernising the font and graphic elements, the new logo better captures the innovative and forward-thinking spirit of the brewery’s beers, while still staying true to their nautical theme and heritage.

In addition to the logo, Titanic Brewery has also updated their labels to feature bold colours and minimalist designs that stand out on the shelf. The result is a cohesive and modern look that better represents the quality and craftsmanship of their beers, and helps them better stand out in between the hipsters and lesser beers at your local craft beer retailer.

For the packaging, we created a ‘badge’ for each of the beers, allowing for beer drinkers across the land to easily identify and differentiate between them on the shelf. The packaging style has a similar aesthetic to the logo itself, being built around ship illustration. This helps channel brand consistency and in doing this we have ensured that their packaging is both visually cohesive and attractive, helping grab the attention of your local bearded beer enthusiast!
