& abuse support organisation

If you’re suffering at the hands of a violent or sexual abuser, ‘Gina’ offer unique support,
counselling and social activities to help those in need. However, it’s a huge leap of faith for
individuals to contact Gina. Their new branding helped to reassure individuals that Gina
were friendly, professional and really could help, giving suffering men and women
the courage to confide in them.

Founded in 2014 by the remarkable Lisa Thompson, GINA stands as a testament to the power of compassion, forged from the depths of personal revelation and driven by a mission to ensure no voice goes unheard. Named after Lisa’s grandmother, GINA is not just an organisation; it’s a living legacy, a sanctuary for those navigating the harrowing aftermath of trauma.

And amidst the chaos of a world in flux, GINA’s story intersected with ours in a moment of serendipity. While they may not have clinched the top spot in our design giveaway, their unwavering commitment to their cause tugged at our heartstrings, compelling us to extend our hand in solidarity. Thus, began a partnership steeped in purpose, passion, and a shared vision of empowerment.

What ensued was nothing short of miraculous – a symphony of colours, shapes, and narratives woven together to breathe new life into GINA’s identity. From the vibrant hues that symbolize courage to the whimsical touches that spark intrigue, every element of the rebranding effort was meticulously crafted to reflect GINA’s ethos of resilience and hope.

But the impact of this transformation transcends mere aesthetics. It’s about breaking barriers, challenging norms, and amplifying voices that have long been silenced. Through our collaboration, GINA has not only embraced a fresh identity but also unlocked new avenues for advocacy and awareness.

“We want to bring a totally different spin to our sector through our brand; we want
to bring colour, eccentricity, intrigue, and just a tiny sprinkling of the good kind
of ‘crazy.’ This might sound weird (to have ‘fun’, ‘colourful’ quirky branding for an
organisation in our sector); however, we believe that our sector needs this element
of vibrancy and something unique (it needs the colour, brightness, joy and hope). Not
much to say Neil other than, we LOVE THESE!”
